No, not to each other. And luckily not on the same day. The dates are on opposite sides of Christmas.

The difference is that Chris's brother (to be fair, his identical twin, they've always been close) told us about the wedding and invited us to it. (It has a LOTR theme, I'm looking forward to shopping for it XD)

I didn't even know my brother was getting married until my mom told me the other day. Apparently he proposed in April. I know my brother and I don't talk much (it's not uncommon to only see each other once or twice a year), and that we disagree on nearly everything, but I'm still his closest relative (genetically speaking anyway), and it's not like I'm evil or anything (just an overweight queer liberal atheist, but who's counting?), I'm just wondering if he was even going to tell me at all. I even checked my Facebook account (the one with my real name that I friend relatives with) and there were no messages. The only reason I didn't send out invitations to my own wedding was because it was a quick courthouse ceremony and everything was said and done in under a week. If Chris and I ever get our family-and-friends shindig, you can be sure I'd invite him (and my soon-to-be sister-in-law).

*le sigh*

I know I suck at keeping in touch with my family, but my parents are the only relatives who've cared enough to pester me about it.
