Still doing okay post-wisdom teeth.
Apr. 26th, 2013 08:40 amNow I just have to make a conscious effort to shut my mouth properly (ha, ha) so that I don't keep biting the insides of my cheeks because that's the last thing that hurts much because between the surgery and the past couple of days they've been gnawed up more than I realized and the last time it was this bad was Toothache Weekend which is what led to getting my wisdom teeth out in the first place. Yay codeine, which has about as much effect on me as over the counter painkillers have on people who find over the counter painkillers effective. (Yes, I'm taking it as directed. I know better than to mess around with a prescription medication that has a "controlled substance" warning on the bottle.)
More sleeping (or trying to), and reading fic, and a How It's Made marathon on Netflix because I finished CSI: Miami. Tried brushing my teeth a few times more, but it was still uncomfortable and a bit painful. Listerine has been my friend and I feel much less grungy using that after having a ye-gods-and-little-fishes-I'm-so-sick-of-it breakfast shake. Chris offered me a bite of his bagel earlier and I couldn't chew it so no real food yet. Maybe tomorrow. I hope.
