Yesterday's trip to the mall went well.

I got some D20s that a friend who makes jewelry and sells it at the PX should be able to make into charms with a bit of wire, and I got some Jaffa cakes and Jelly Babies from a stuff-from-all-around-the-world shop, and had some nice conversations with various salespeople/shopkeepers. (Including one lady at Papyrus who asked if I was "near my due date." Lordy fuck, I need to diet in earnest. And get a full-body mirror. I hadn't realized it looked that bad.)
