Quiet day.
Jan. 20th, 2013 07:32 pmChris and I went to the commissary (yeah, again *sigh*) to stock up on food for while our car is in the shop (Chris is preparing for this week like it's The Sodding Zombie Apocalypse), but first we stopped by his friend Jamie's barracks room to see how she was doing, because he hadn't heard from her in days. She was there, and well, but her phone had been left in another building and she didn't have access to it (or something, I wasn't really paying attention). So it was the three of us that went to the commissary, and the PX, and now she's here with us watching TV with Chris while I'm in here making hats and watching CSI: Miami. I often find her presence irritating, but since she hasn't actually done anything wrong (she's even gotten much better about not bringing her cigarette smoke smell into our home or car) I'm not going to say she isn't allowed here because she's Chris's only good friend here (he's got no other friends here that he'd invite over, and there were several mutual friends that we had back in Alaska--Reid, Rich, Sumner, Ryan...I miss them) and, like I said, she hasn't done anything wrong.
Do you have people like that in your life, Internet? People who haven't really *done* anything, yet rub you the wrong way nevertheless?
