Also, I made some new beanies with my new Knifty Knitter round thingies! (My dad sent me a gift card for Amazon via email and that was one of the things I got) And I figured out how to do brims so they don't curl up like (eep) the one still in my shop. I'll post pictures later. :)

Wow! I feel almost moved in.
Jan. 11th, 2011 10:13 amWe're not, really. We've made several dents and have access to the most important stuff (a comfortable place to use the computer and a comfortable place to watch/play video games and movies), but there're still lots of boxes around with stuff in them, or stuff all over the floor (most of it in pixellated camo *eyes Chris pointedly*)...
...BUT...
I did just now what I haven't been able to do since before we got our household goods: I cleared off the kitchen countertops!
I know, I know, not a huge deal, but with such a small kitchen, I need all the counter space I can get. Besides, a clean kitchen is a health consideration, and kitchens and bathrooms are the easiest to clean since everything's a hard surface, so they always get done first.
It's past my bedtime and I don't feel tired, and I'm hoping I can stay up until evening and actually be up during the day normally. At the moment I could go to bed and probably fall asleep, but I'm going to fight it so that turning my internal clock around (one which has had the luxury of too much for sleep for much too long) doesn't take too long.
Now if there were just some way for me to sleep hours similar to Chris's and still be able to have long chats with Fizzy? She's usually online during that time and I want her in my life as much as I want Chris in my life.
I hope that the new year is going well so far for all of you. I've...made some beanies (on the Knifty Knitter, but still, they came out well!). :P But I'll take pics and post them sometime this week. :)
*looks up*
Wow, that was rambly. Maybe I'm more tired than I thought.
