I'm in New York!
Oct. 31st, 2010 09:42 amFINALLY.
What a long, long, LONG day--and it was over 24 hours between arriving at the Fairbanks airport and leaving the Syracuse airport, and then it was over an hour to get to Ft. Drum, and now we're at the inn until we can get housing.
I've had my shower, my sleep, and my meal, and no longer feel like having a good cry. Not at the moment anyway. And the computers at the "business room" at the inn (where I am now) have Firefox as a browser option so YAY I'm not limited to IE!
I'll write out everything later but the Twitter posts at my LJ tell the majority of what's been going on so if you don't mind reading those...
I'm gonna check emails, answer replies, and hopefully get back to zipping through my flist now that I have a mouse (it's so irritating to just have the touchpad when you're used to a mouse--I must be spoiled or something :P).
If there's something you want me to know about now (I think I'm on 9/20 or something on my flist at LJ), please comment at this post at either account.
