UPDATE: 3 Scrunchie Grab Bag
Fuck fucking fucker fuck, once we clear housing we can't stay in the house. And they won't pay for us to stay at the inn. With what fucking money do they expect us to stay elsewhere? We're one junior enlisted income!
I'm stressing out now, because we might have money to pay the phone bill and whatever fees housing puts on us, and then we have to get a room? If there's no room at the on post inn we'd have to go on post where it's even more expensive, especially since our car would be gone by then too and we'd have to take a cab since the bus doesn't go on post. And we'll still have to eat during layovers at airport pricing and whatever we'll need between getting to Drum and getting housing and getting our household goods and not to mention our shit pay that we get here with the cost of living increase will be going down by $500 when we get to NY because there won't be COLA there. ARGH
I can only hope that we can sell the two sleeper sofas. Or that I can sell scrunchies at the airport. Though there're probably rules against that too.
I'm really gonna have to find a way to work on post and have reliable transportation because E-4 ain't shit.
Can we move to Australia now?
*tears up, pulls at hair, flails*
No, that won't help. Ad blitz for
the Etsy shop? Solicit donations? NO, self. You're broke, not poor. I sure have a lot more scrunchies now because they're quick projects than are at the shop (and some are really soft and/or cool-colored!)
If I were to, say, put up lots of three scrunchies for $10, would anyone go for it? Crowdsourcing style? I can't sell old accounts but I
can sell textiles I made by hand! And--thanks, Dame!--I can offer icons too, 30 icons for $5 like I offered for help_haiti and gulf_aid_now and such. And I can be all
support the troops by supporting their families if I can find a non-wanky way to do that. :P
Links in the next few minutes. (Apologies for all the posting in such a short time!)
