TIMESTAMPS
TIMESTAMPS TIMESTAMPS TIMESTAMPS
First I find out that Chapter Sixteen of Part Two of Freak Camp is up, and then I find out that the authors are on LJ and that there are TIMESTAMPS. I wish I'd known about those during the hiatus! The timestamps are here.
This is such an excellent epic fic. It's Sam/Dean, but they're not related in this one. Also it is extremely dark in parts, and if you have any triggers of any kind at all, I highly recommend not reading it, 'cause I don't have any trauma triggers and I still had to read certain parts while sipping green tea or Diet Pepsi because the violence made me nauseous. But it fits in this 'verse because there has to be epic hurt for there to be epic comfort and sixteen chapters into Part Two (the worst of the trauma happens in Part One), and these are rather long chapters, the traumatized character is still pretty damned traumatized.
But it's an awesome and well-written story and I highly recommend it to anyone who reads the warnings at the fic carefully and decides they can handle it. I know all that sounds hyperbolic but it's not.
