What's knifty-knitting? I'm not familiar with that. And yeah - obviously if it's complicated stuff then I have to keep looking at it, but the majority I've learned by touch, so I just load up something and keep hitting the space bar with my little finger.

It's one of those things - if something is too much like something you're already good at, it can be awkward, because your brain is going "But I can do things almost like this, why is it so hard?"
