Dear Simone Jester,

LiveJournal does not transfer account level settings between accounts upon request for a number of reasons, the most basic of which being that it would create a large volume of work that would need to be done manually. There are also too many opportunities for fraudulent transfer requests, system bugs, and other complications. LiveJournal also considers it to be the responsibility of the user to ensure that they purchase paid time or a permanent account for the username they truly want to.

We therefore will not transfer the permanent status of 'orbitaldiamonds' to this or any other account.

Oh, how sad that LiveJournal can't take the time to do what took Dreamwidth only seconds.
